Starship Enterprise Days are the most popular of all of Adam’s Enterprise challenges and are all about letting students reach for the stars. The brief is to come up with a business idea for a product or service to make life better. Students love this enterprise day and over the years we have even seen some of the ideas go on to become real businesses, such as a School Newspaper, Tour guide business, and even an eco-roof garden!Find out more >
The brief for this Enterprise challenge is brilliant. Adam asks the question “What could make your School life better?” and the students are not short of ideas. From interactive Schoolbags to School radio stations and Eco Gardens, Adam has seen many of these business ideas become a reality directly as a result of the enterprise day. A really fun challenge that engages students from the get-go as the brief is something they feel so passionately about.Find out more >
Adam started his first-ever business down at his local market with zero budget, an idea, and the will to succeed and he loves giving students the same opportunity. As part of the Enterprise days, students are asked to come up with a business idea for a product or service to launch initially from a Market stall, and then show how they would use that as a springboard to take their business to the next level in 2021 using the power of the internet, marketing, ambassadors and influencers. Taking the students from market trader to market leader is a challenge very close to Adam’s heart. Adam’s Enterprise days are really good fun and achieve amazing results.Find out more >
We all know that now more than ever plastic is a problem and Adam’s Enterprise days are all about solving problems, which in itself can be a business idea. The enterprise days allow students to come up with innovative and original ideas to help reduce the amount of plastic we use globally, from upcycling, recycling and finding other materials to use, to drastically reducing our plastic usage. The results of this challenge do speak for themselves. Some of the amazing ideas to come out of the enterprise days include students making shopping bags from upcycled football shirts and coming up with a prototype for a collapsible water bottle, even an app to help consumers reduce their plastic usage. All students love Apps and this challenge is all about creating their own. This Enterprise Day Challenge is to come up with their very own app: this could be something to help solve a problem, keep you mentally and physically healthy, or even help you with timekeeping and productivity. Students embrace this challenge and put 100% into it as Apps are a part of their everyday life and now it is their opportunity to come up with their very own. The results of this enterprise day have amazed Adam over the years as this is a challenge where students come into their own and get to share their vision of what the world needs in 2021.Find out more >
Adam delivers all of his own unique original content and his Enterprise days are a massive hit with Schools, Colleges and Universities achieving amazing results that help hit some of the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Adam has worked closely with over 500 Schools, Colleges and Universities for the last decade all over the U.K. and Europe to come up with and deliver amazing one day Enterprise day challenges, the format being a motivational speech by Adam in the morning to rally the troops in the morning and get people feeling creative, then he delivers an Apprentice style brief for the students to follow throughout the enterprise day coming up with a product or service idea teaching students the key points of business and showing students how to put this into a business package to present to judges at the end of the enterprise day in a Dragons Den Style pitch along with awards and appraisals, prizes and trophies.
The business ideas will all make money and also come up with ideas of how they will give back to their community and take social action. So the format of each day is the same you just chose the challenge you fancy it’s like the Apprentice meets Dragons Den although Adam delivers the brief and brings the energy for the day and the Dragons are friendly judges made up of Adam, teaching staff and someone from the local business community or even the local newspaper editor who are always keen to be a part of the day.
Enterprise days continually help everyone involved release their potential and their creativeness and show that a young person who is involved in an Enterprise day is twice as likely to set up their own business.
The result of the days is to inspire every one that takes part to believe that anyone can be an entrepreneur.
All you need to do is choose a task that you like the look of and get in touch with Adam to make it happen, if you are feeling creative and have a plan of your own, speak to Adam about his “Task builder challenge” and get ready for a fun, super energy day that students and teachers alike will love!
These days really do speak for themselves as 95% of Adam’s Enterprise clients make his Enterprise day challenge an annual event!
